Across The Bridge Of Hope is a charity album benefitting the Omagh Fund, an organization that helps the families of the bombed Irish city of Omagh. The tracklisting features some of Ireland's finest performers and artists, including actor Liam Neeson, who reads Seamus Heaney's "The Cure At Troy" and "The Bridge," a poem written by one of the bombing's young victims. Enya contributes "Silent Night," and U2's "Please" and an acoustic version of Van Morrison's "The Healing Game" also appear. Across The Bridge Of Hope also includes Sinead O'Connor's cover of ABBA's "Chiquita," as well as tracks by Ash, The Divine Comedy, The Corrs, and Boyzone. The Omagh Community Youth Choir sings the title track, completing the circle of healing and acceptance that this album represents.
