AllMusic Review by Al Campbell

Absolutely the Best of the Sixties, Vol. 2 is a better-than-average single disc highlighting 15 pop singles originally released on Laurie Records. Along with a few of the tried-and-true radio classics by Dion -- "Runaround Sue," "A Teenager in Love," "Abraham, Martin & John," -- the Chiffons' "Sweet Talkin' Guy" and "He's So Fine," and Music Explosion's "Little Bit O' Soul" are less-than-obvious inclusions like Dean & Jean's "Hey Jean, Hey Dean," Bobby Goldsboro's "Molly," Randy & the Rainbows' "Denise" and the Barbarians' "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl?." Although it's far from a perfect label retrospective, it's still a nice sampler of familiar items.
