Absolutely the Best of the 80's, Vol. 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Absolutely the Best of the Eighties, with 18 slices of new wave, hair metal, and pop/rock anthems/guilty pleasures awaiting you, the seasoned listener. However, caution is recommended, as all of the lonely neon splendor that is the Motels, the ankle-breaking, roller skate-scuffed goodness of REO Speedwagon, and Poison, who are so blissfully unaware of what a God-awful song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" is that it's almost endearing, will undoubtedly cause pangs of nostalgia that could render even the casual observer green with post-high-school-breakup flashbacks. If this occurs, do not induce vomiting, just go back to track one -- thankfully it's "Rapture" by Blondie -- and hit repeat.
