AllMusic Review by

With her crystal-clear diction, confident-yet-mellow sense of swing, and just-plain-folks approach, the late Rosemary Clooney remains one of the pre-rock & roll era's greatest and classiest pop singers. Like Frank Sinatra, Clooney was equally at home in both jazz and pop settings, as this collection of 1950s songs, SWEET SCENT OF ROSEMARY, makes plain. Clooney makes the most of romantic standards such as "Witchcraft" and "You Make Me Feel So Young," and even a country classic, Hank Williams's "Half As Much."
