AllMusic Review by

After gaining some success with their debut album, Startracks decided that they should do a compilation of Loosegoats' old EPs to satisfy new fans, and make old fans angry, because now their collectors' items weren't as hot anymore. Anyhow, the tracks are in reverse order, which means that the record begins with the latest EP, Slotmachines and Busted Dreams, a track from the debut album. The four tracks available on that EP are actually the most boring ones on this compilation, but "Slotmachines..." is a very good song. Then we proceed with the Country Crock EP. This was Loosegoats "breakthrough" EP, with the title track being played a whole lot on national Swedish radio, and indeed, all four tracks are brilliant. That's something you also could say about the Mule Habits EP, and it's rather nice to name a B-side "Destined to Be a B-Side." The last five tracks on this album are the ones from Loosegoats' debut EP, Small Lesbian Baseball Players, and you can hear that this is the first effort from the boys, but despite that, the songs are good. The fact that this is a compilation is often forgotten when you listen to it, because the songs are very good, and don't sound like B-sides at all.
