Six years (and multiple recording projects) separate the albums offered in this two-fer, but they provide a glimpse into the mulit-faceted talents of former Incredible String Band mastermind Robin Williamson. GLINT AT THE KINDLING is a set of of the typically majestic and haunting British folk for which Williamson is renowned, with eccentric lyrics and full, lush arrangments. FIVE BARDIC MYSTERIES is a spoken-word album of heraldic poetry based on Scottish legends. Fans of ISB, intricate folk music, and stirring poetry will find much to admire about both of these albums.
