AllMusic Review by

A surprisingly pretty decent collection of '80s hip-hop, from the well-known (De La Soul's "Ghetto Thang," Biz Markie's "Make the Music with Your Mouth, Biz") to the more obscure (Uptown's "Dope on Plastic," Chill Rob G's "Let the Words Flow," which showed up on his 1990 full-length Ride the Rhythm, but was the B-side to 1989's "The Court Is Now in Session," so it fits the guidelines), and plenty of stuff in between. A good sampler or way to introduce one's self to the old-school hip-hop scene.
