Bon Jovi's entry in Island/Universal's 7 Series is a seven-track version of 2001's gold disc One Wild Night Live (1985-2001). Eight of the album's tracks have been removed, leaving a severely shortened running order. The choices made when shrinking the disc were very questionable. Where is "You Give Love a Bad Name"? It is one of the band's signature songs and certainly deserves to be here instead of the pedestrian "Just Older." And why leave off "Bad Medicine" in favor of the weak "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night"? The whole idea of taking a hit album and stripping off more than half of the tracks is kind of a weird idea. The only time it might work is if all the filler on an album were removed and just the best seven songs remained. This album was a perfect chance to do just that and they botched it by including filler and leaving off killer stuff. There is no reason anyone needs to pay their hard-earned (or even ill-gotten) cash for a record company's mistake.
