The sensation anyone unfortunate enough to purchase Direct Source's 60's: Sensations collection will soon be feeling after mere seconds of the first track is liable to be disappointment followed by acute sadness. The disappointment comes from having wasted money on a disc that promises to be a good though short collection of '60s hits by seemingly reputable artists like Donovan and Sam & Dave, only to find that it is made up of re-recordings of classics like the Troggs' "Love Is All Around" and the Cowsills' "Hair." The sadness comes from realizing that the artists involved must have been in pretty bad shape to have to revisit their classics like this. Save yourself the anguish and just skip this terrible disc altogether.
