AllMusic Review by

Everything you need to know about 60's Groovy Hits is right there on the cover in the small print. New stereo recordings by the original artists. In other words, karaoke by some famous names who apparently never got paid the first time around, like Mary Wells (though her disco rendition of "My Guy" is kind of interesting), Gary Lewis, and Percy Sledge as well as some names you thought wouldn't stoop to such depths, like Donovan and Eric Burdon. Despite the presence of a couple of ringers (the Shangri-Las' "Leader of the Pack" and the Archies' "Sugar, Sugar"), this collection is a dreadful listening experience, and since, unlike in most cases, the warning is right on the cover, you really have no excuse for even considering purchasing it.
