PolyGram Special Markets' 45's on CD, Vol. 4 (1967-1969) is a collection of ten pop singles from the PolyGram vaults that were hits during those three years. The disc boasts a nice balance of familiar hits and forgotten tunes, featuring such songs as the Cowsills' "The Rain, the Park and Other Things," Keith's "98.6," Jay & the Techniques' "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie," Janis Ian's "Society's Child," the Troggs' "Love is All Around," Paul Mauriat's "Love is Blue," Spanky & Our Gang's "Sunday Will Never Be the Same" and the Blues Magoos' "(We Ain't Got) Nothing Yet." It's a nice, varied selection that's not always seen on a budget-priced disc, making it worthwhile for casual fans on a tight budget.
