30 Pegaditas features cumbia tracks from a somewhat anonymous South American singer (to the Western world), all mushed together in a not very inspired or subtle mix. Especially interesting are the disturbingly abrupt changes of key during the transition from one sunny track to the next. It's intriguing for the pirate CD ambience -- the sheer primitiveness of the mixing technique and the grainy-glossy budget production sound of the original tracks. Other than that, it's pleasant enough, perhaps more than pleasant if you're all about Jennifer.
