The second volume of this four-volume set picks up with Hawkwind launching into its Space Ritual tour, with Lemmy Kilminster by now a fixture in the band. Kilminster lasted for two more albums, as the band began to take on a more traditional prog rock sound. The following two albums, excerpted on this compilation, mark the splintering and decline of the band over the next few years. Once again, the compilation of the disc seems sloppy and strange, with tracks out of chronological order and some odd selections. The sound is somewhat better than on the first volume.
