AllMusic Review by

Composed and conducted by Tan Dun, 2000 Today: A World Symphony for the Millennium is a sweeping work blending the performing talents of the BBC Concert Orchestra, the London Voices, and the Harlem Boys Choir. In keeping with the global nature of the accompanying television special, a number of world music artists are featured as well, and acts like the Gipsy Kings and Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers join in on a closing performance of Bob Marley's "One Love."
