This British compilation presents a good selection of Dionne Warwick's popular Scepter Records recordings of the 1960s. All of her major hits written and/or produced by Burt Bacharach and Hal David are included, along with four more tracks of the period ("Make It Easy on Yourself," later a Top 40 hit for Warwick in a live version, and "Goin' Out of My Head," "Wives and Lovers," and "The Look of Love," which were hits for others). Half a dozen lesser Top 40 hits are missing, the most memorable of which is "Trains and Boats and Planes." The LP's sound quality and sound level are fine despite the large number of tracks squeezed in, and for its time, which was probably the 1970s, this collection addressed the needs of a casual Warwick fan adequately.
