This is yet another collection of Bob Marley tracks that draws predominately from the sessions Marley and the Wailers did with legendary producer Lee "Scratch" Perry in the late 1960s and early 1970s. These sessions were arguably the best the Wailers ever had, and the music that issued from them is joyous, funky, and revolutionary. Unfortunately, licensing for this material has been haphazard and chaotic, resulting in hundreds of releases, all featuring these same songs. The six-disc Trojan box set called The Complete Upsetter Collection has everything (including dubs and remixes) that Marley and the Wailers did with Perry, and remains the best source for this magnificent and historically important music.
