AllMusic Review by

12 X 12, Vol. 3: Third Impression collects more full-length 12" remixes of '80s and early-'90s singles that are really all over the map musically. There's jazzy hip-hop from A Tribe Called Quest ("Can I Kick It?"), new wave-ish pop by Kid Creole & the Coconuts ("I'm a Wonderful Thing [Baby]") and Difford & Tilbrook ("Love's Crashing Waves"), and lots of club grooves, including singles by the dance-pop production team Stock, Aitken & Waterman ("Road Block") and the future Fatboy Slim, Norman Cook ("Blame It on the Bassline"). Some of these singles are rather obscure, but overall, collectors may be intrigued.
