The Zombies

Beechwood Park

Song Review by

Like Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale," "Beechwood Park" moves like a sleepy, Bach piece. Its graceful, elegant melody is one of the Zombies' most simple, and most effective. Lyrically, the references of geography and the weather are tangible, making it one of the Zombies' more cinematic songs.
