Song Premiere: Nurses, "Yours to Keep"

"Yours to Keep" is the closing track from Naughtland, the upcoming LP by Portland-based experimental pop duo Nurses. It's been six years since the band's last album, Dracula, which found the band refining its sound while broadening its perspective, a trajectory that continues here, both musically and thematically. "This was the first time I let myself write a straight up love song," wrote Nurses' Aaron Chapman. "I feel like love songs forget to mention how terrifying it can be to suddenly have something to lose and also to give up control. I wanted to write something to honestly reflect the beauty, fear, and eventual surrender I went through."

Naughtland is due out October 6.
