Hailing from New Jersey, Tony Hussle left his home state in search of songwriting fame and fortune, making pit stops in both New York and Los Angeles. Largely known behind the scenes as a top producer and arranger, he made beat tracks for various MCs and groups, as well as helping a then unknown Alicia Keys develop the sound which would help her win Grammys no more than a few years later. It would only be a few short years of shipping his demo around to major labels before landing his first big break. His debut record Sexy Freaky Electric was released in 2006; a blend of funk and electronic soul that is no doubt an homage to his childhood musical influences.
