Beginning in 1995 under the lineup of Mike Selman (guitar/effects), Tony Oliveira (guitar), Luke Boas (bass), and James Munro (drums), the Meatlocker Seven brought on their hybrid of heavy metal and punk to their native of Victoria, BC. The following year, Meatlocker Music released the bands debut full-length, Corrode. A new lineup was established with Steve Migliarese on bass, Dave Askins on drums, and Aaron Clark on vocals. Following a few years of playing with the likes of the Dayglow Abortions, Strapping Young Lads, and Punchdrunk, amongst others, Chris Lorette took over on drums while singer Quin McCulloch fronted Meatlocker Seven; before being replaced by Bram Harvey in 2000.
