Matt Resnicoff has been around the music business for quite some time. He served as senior editor for Musician magazine, New York editor of Guitar Player, and executive editor for Guitar World in addition to contributing to Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and JazzTimes. He has also written his share of liner notes for the likes of the Kinks, the Who, Pink Floyd, and Joe Satriani, among others. He's produced recordings for Steve Lukather and Larry Carlton (the Grammy-winning No Substitutions) and Pat Martino (where he also worked with Les Paul, Kevin Eubanks, Charlie Hunter, Mike Stern, and Michael Hedges), and played on and produced albums by Reeves Gabrels, Dave Tronzo, and Mike Keneally. After a couple decades in the biz, Resnicoff teamed up with producer Keneally for his debut album, The History of Now, released in late 2011.
