Artist Biography by

Marz were a short-lived heavy rock outfit from Lincolnshire, England, comprised of vocalist Steve Farmer, guitarists Dave Lamond and Mark Lindley, bassist Russ Clough, and drummer Ian Padgett. Emerging in 1980 with their self-financed Lady of the Night EP in hand, the quintet joined vast legions of up-and-coming groups conveniently associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, but faded into obscurity almost immediately as its members drifted apart and joined other bands, most notably Overdrive.
