Ken Boynton is an active singer/songwriter, actor, filmmaker, and also very active as a voiceover artist. With this many logs on the fire, one may wonder how he has come to release his fifth album, "Find a Way", in 2000. His passion for songwriting and singing has kept him focused on his music, it is one of the great pleasures in his busy career and thus he has found a way. Ken Boynton writes songs that have personal charm that touch the listener in a special way.Ken Boynton's first album was tiltled "Fate Is My Buddy", it was released in June of 1993 and met with favorable reviews. In July 1995, he released "Chance" which led to an even larger group of Ken Boynton fans seeking out his live performances. "Chance" also charted on the International Top 50, based on European airplay. It received radio airplay on fifty-one American adult alternative stations, one hundred-fifty college stations, and thirty-one stations in thirteen European countries."Midnight Every Day", followed in May 1997 and was licensed for an ABC Network pilot, "Catch Me If You Can." Both, "Midnight Every Day" and "Chance", were licensed to be used on MTV's, "The Real World" and "Road Rules".The year 2000 was a banner year for Ken Boynton as he released two albums, "Aural Pleasure Cruise" in May and "Find a Way" in July. The latter listed some impressive, talented featured artist who joined Ken Boynton on the album. Some of the featured artist include, Ben Smith who has worked with Heart, B.B. King, and Taj Mahal, Garey Shelton who has worked with James Brown and Jesse Colin Young, Valerie Rosa who has worked with Ray Charles, Dave Gross of Backstreet Boys notability, Tom McGurk known for his work with Bad Animals, Murl Allen Sanders and Glenn Lorbiecki who have both worked with Michael Tomlinson. The album was produced by Glenn Lorbiecki who has gained world acclaim for the work with Violent Femmes as well. On the live circuit Ken Boynton has opened for such notables as John Hammond and Livingston Taylor. He has also made regular visits to the Northwest venues, Benaroya Hall, Bumbershoot, Broadway Performance Hall, Bite of Seattle, Redhook Ale Brewery, King Country Arts Commission, Tractor Tavern and Honey Bear Bakery.
