Former teen actor turned DJ Greg Scott led an interesting life before venturing into the music industry. A child performer, he turned his talents for dancing and singing into an audition winner by the time Fox turned to him for a role on their Masked Rider TV show. Spending two years on the program, he became a DJ in North Hollywood and began hosting their local top ten countdown. Eventually growing tired of spinning other people's hits, he began working on adult contemporary music and hooked up with producer Jim DeCicco in early 1999 to record a demo. Inspired by the demo's quality, he began a live campaign that covered the Southern California area until he finally scored a deal on DeCicco's Pyram-Axis Records to record his debut album, The Waking Hour.
