Artist Biography by

David Lavin is a freelance writer and performing songwriter originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. David received a degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with a major in English and a minor in Ethnomusicology. He also studied songwriting, theory, composition and performance intensively at Boston's Berklee College of Music. While in Philadelphia, David was fortunate to study with blues legend "Philadelphia" Jerry Ricks, and has since toured through Europe and the Midwest. David speaks several languages and has traveled extensively throughout several continents. He currently lives in Seattle, Washington.
