The success of the Four Seasons' latest Top Ten hit single, "Working My Way Back to You," at the start of 1966 may have taken the team by surprise, since this rush-released album borrowed three tracks from the group's previous album, The 4 Seasons Entertain You. The other eight tracks, however, are fairly good representations of the Gaudio-Crewe pop formula -- not their best, perhaps, but enough so to make a good album. And album-closer "Everybody Knows My Name" indicated that Crewe and Gaudio had been listening to the Bob Dylan-inspired folk-rock wave.
