Music lovers will enjoy this 20-song collection by southern soul and rock & roll singers associated with Louisiana's Ace recording family. "Just a Dream" and "Venus in Blue Jeans" by Jimmy Clanton capture the essence of adolescent romance. Dr. John presents a more adult point of view on "Storm Warning" and "Tears, Tears, and More Tears," done with Chuck Carbo. There are also memorable performances from Frankie Ford ("Sea Cruise") plus deeper items by Bobby Hood ("Three People (Sleeping In My Bed)"), Jimmy Elledge ("Reconsider Me"), and Johnny Fairchild ("I Was A Fool"), and more.
