Released a few months in advance of their critically acclaimed second effort, Pigwalk, 1996's Violated EP previewed what would be one of that album's strongest songs (its title track), added a live version of soon-to-be fan fave "Monster," and rounded everything out with a pair of lighthearted outtakes (the sludgy "U.B.Otch" and the punkish "Pizza Man"), a demo of the then-unreleased "Hate Must Be a Gift," and a cover of Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf." All of these contributed to the delight of Stuck Mojo's hardcore faithful, who were later re-gifted with the entirety of Violated as part of the expanded 2006 reissue of Pigwalk.
