AllMusic Review by

Soaking in its own premeditated glam, Vibrate You is a puerile exercise in being loud, tasteless, and absolutely without explanation for its own existence. But you can't fault Birmingham's finest mascara fetishists for trying. Suede, Supergrass, the New York Dolls, Pussy Galore -- they're all here, glowering from the bar, watching as these young punks try to pay their inspirational debts with squalling rock sleaze and geysers of porno cologne when they should be all too aware that no matter how much sweat and scum they think is necessary to light a fire under the stools of corporate rock, despite how much they think they're flushing 2001 Britain free from its much maligned bed-wetter music through songs about embittered anorexics and unquestionably ace titles like "Super Muff Diver," they're still in danger of riding off into the sunset as the neo-glam indie equivalent of the Rutles.
