As the title suggests, Veggie Tales: On the Road With Bob & Larry features songs about traveling as sung by Veggie Tales' Bob and Larry, as well as a choir of kids. The collection features Veggie-ized versions of traditional songs like "I've Been Working on the Raiload/Down by the Station," "The Wheels on the Bus," "Bicycle Built for Two," and "The Bear Went Over the Mountain," as well as pop and country songs such as "On the Road Again," "Happy Trails," and "Ease on Down the Road." On the Road With Bob & Larry also includes some of the Veggie Tales' faith-based, inspirational songs, such as "Stop! And Go With Mercy," which encourages having patience with the annoying habits of friends and acquaintances, and some original tunes like "Are We There Yet?," which sets the universal road-trip question to a bouncy melody. Overall, Veggie Tales: On the Road With Bob & Larry is a fun singalong album for families with very young children; while it occasionally gets a little too cutesy, it offers enough entertainment to help the time on the road go a little bit faster.
