AllMusic Review by

South Florida goths Deadstar Assembly incorporate a number of styles into their debut album, UNSAVED. While the primary elements are industrial rock, there are also touches of 1980s New Wave and straight-up metal seamlessly worked in. The band's singer, Dearborn, can growl with the best of them, but he also sounds great on the more melodic numbers, and the musicianship in general is excellent. Deadstar Assembly's debut presents an inventive group intent on developing a sound all its own.
