AllMusic Review by

A mixed bag, combining the new Pioneers--Lloyd Perryman, Dale Warren, Luther Nallie, and Roy Lanham--and their re-recording of the title track, "Song of the Land I Love," and "King of the Fools" from late 1968, with early 1960's recordings by the previous line-up, including "Ramona," "Chant of the Wanderer," "He Walks With The Wild and the Lonely."
