France's Trax magazine includes a free ten-track disc of music with each issue, most of which should be snapped up whenever possible. Each volume provides an up-to-date summation of underground dance music -- much of it European fare -- along with some nods to the outer fringes of indie rock and cutting-edge rap and R&B. The 78th volume includes a handful of excellent left-field house singles, including Brooks' "Tell Somebody About Us," Misc.'s "Rocket Kontrol," and Mylo's "Muscle Cars." Other notables come from Le Tigre, the Juan Maclean, the Hacker, Munk, and Phonique. Even so, this isn't one of the strongest additions to the series.
