AllMusic Review by

Continuing where the sprawling series left off, Trancemaster 3003 jumped right in with "Take Me Away (Into the Night)" by 4 Strings, a soft-hitting mid-set pleaser featuring offensively thin drums and non-committal vocals. Unmixed, things did not improve. On the first disc, the Rank 1-ish club mix of Mario Lopez's "Free Your Mind" plodded, and Angel of Death's "Angels Return" wasted its builds, while on the second, DJ Hein, Push, Tory Kay, Accuface, and the others offered nothing to incite interest, especially alongside Green Velvet's derivative but welcome "La La Land," which was nasty and filtery with a bassline lifted from somebody's murderous drum 'n' bass crate, and strangely not really trance at all.
