The Capitol/EMI two-fer Today, Tomorrow, Forever/A Touch of Today includes two of Nancy Wilson's pop sessions from the mid-'60s, chock to the brim with up-to-date -- for the time, of course -- standards like "One Note Samba," "I Left My Heart in San Francisco," "Yesterday," "Wives and Lovers," "The Shadow of Your Smile," "Call Me," "Goin' out of My Head," and "Our Day Will Come." Though Wilson's beautiful voice and impeccable phrasing convert most of these songs into her repertoire, a few -- "Uptight (Everything's Alright)," and "On Broadway" -- just don't work at all. Overall, there's at least a dozen songs scattered across the two LPs that any vocal fan can enjoy, while another dozen might tailor better to camp listeners.
