With its cover homage to Ornette Coleman's 1961 LP This Is Our Music, Baiza and company move into more controlled, song-oriented jazz-rock playing. Only an EP, there's a lot here to chew on, but mainly you're left with the feeling that this is a band going places, a band that's uncomfortable being considered either rock or jazz, but want to play both at once. This release was a clear sign that better records were in the offing.
