Boston-based punk neo-traditionalists the Ducky Boys play edgy, anthemic punk in the tradition of Social Distortion, Rancid, and the Dropkick Murphys. The band has matured over the course of its four studio albums, and while WAR BACK HOME still owes a debt to the Clash, it also leans more toward mainstream rock in its high-shelf production and catchy fists-in-the-air choruses. Meanwhile, the band shows a marked leap forward in songcraft and performance, while also providing a welcome antidote to the legions of cookie-cutter punk-pop acts on the market.
