AllMusic Review by

This Hindsight LP, which consists of radio transcriptions from 1939-40, puts the emphasis on the jazz side of the Casa Loma Orchestra; the 16 numbers only contain two Kenny Sargent vocals and just one from Pee Wee Hunt. Among the most interesting selections are a "new" rendition of the band's theme song "Smoke Rings," "Hindustan," "No-Name Jive," trumpeter Sonny Dunham's high-note feature on "Memories of You" and the Casa Loma's versions of three songs made famous by Glenn Miller: "Little Brown Jug," "In the Mood" and "Tuxedo Junction." This album is well worth picking up by swing collectors.
