AllMusic Review by

Calling Dressed to Kill's The Fab Four Collection a Beatles collection is misleading, to say the least. There is not a single Beatles recording here on this double-disc set, after all (although John and Paul do show up on an interview with Kenny Everett that closes the first disc, and the second is devoted to interviews with John circa his Bed-In phase in 1969). Instead, this opens with a 1996 Tony Sheridan re-recording of "My Bonnie," his single with the Beatles, then a few of Sheridan's '60s cuts with the Beat Boys follow, then there's a large stretch of Denny Laine recordings, including two songs with Paul & Linda McCartney in support, but most of these cuts feature Laine doing his own version of Paul songs with his own version of Wings. In other words, not really a Beatles record and not really one worth considering for any Fab fan unless they're interested in collecting all manner of Beatles ephemera.
