This is actually a live recording of a show Marvin Gaye did in Indianapolis at the Indiana Pulis Speedway in 1983, although the packaging of this two-disc set doesn't indicate that, meaning unwary consumers may think they're getting studio recordings. The Indianapolis concert has been circulating as a bootleg for years, and the sound quality is less than stellar, with a lot of intrusive crowd noise. This release may be of some interest to frenetic fans and collectors, however, because it appears to be the complete show, and because it contains an interesting, if somewhat indulgent, 12-minute version of "Sexual Healing," one of Gaye's greatest songs.
