AllMusic Review by

Dropped from MCA and resurfacing on Baton Rouge's Entertainment Solutions, Kane & Abel delivered a rough-and-ready album that featured much more finesse in the lyrics than the spare, shoddy productions would seem to indicate. The producers work the same pimp roll through much of the album, and Kane & Abel haven't altered their purely paranoid themes, evidenced by tracks like "Whatcha Looking @," "Voices," and "Mind Playing Tricks." There's a lot of room for the duo's dense flow, but Kane & Abel have to keep listeners very interested to compensate for the lack of production expertise. In the end, they can't quite do it.
