The Kitty Wells Show is an entertaining LP documenting a mid-'60s concert headlined by Wells. Kitty only performs four songs--"You Left Your Mark on Me," "It's All Over But the Crying," "Love's Enough for Me" and her trademark song "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels"--with the rest of the album taken over by her fellow country vocalists Bill Phillips, Bobby Wright, and Johnny Wright, plus instrumentalists Paul Yandell and Odell Martin. Though it would have been nice to hear a complete concert from Kitty, the record is fun; nevertheless, it isn't really the kind of album that holds up on repeat listens.
