It is an absolute certainty that Tangerine Dream has hundreds of hours of unreleased material in their vaults. They released two CDs of unused film music that (supposedly) covered only the years that Edgar Froese and Jerome Froese were writing and performing film scores as Tangerine Dream. The band has been working in the movie industry for over 30 years. The Hollywood Years, Vol. 2 features more outtakes and other unused material. These tracks are not as strong as the tracks on the first volume and the flow is not as cohesive. The music suffers outside its original media. This is a disc for die-hard Tangerine Dream fans and completists only.
