AllMusic Review by

It's official: One cannot go wrong with any record that has a cover penned by Adrian Tomine (of comic book Optic Nerve fame). It's also hard to go wrong with the Aislers Set, who continue their guitar fuzz, organ-led romp of '60s-influenced pop. This time around, Amy, Wyatt, and company interpret the George Fame hit of "Yeh Yeh," which conjures up the mental image of Vespa scooters circling a troupe of go-go dancers. The Fairways are more of a sensitive, sentimental boy band who are just as catchy in that mod indie pop styling, except with clearer production. And to top it all off, this record comes with a poster that's drawn up by Tomine himself, which can either be used as a poster for your hip indie rock flat or as a collectors' item.
