With all the tracks in true stereo -- most of them for the first time since their original release -- this collection of Limeliters material highlights the height of the folk-music revival of the early '60s. It's a brace of show tunes, folks staples, and oddball stabs at pop, sometimes at odds with the detached irony that the group usually brought to their songs. The Limeliters were never really a singles band the way the Kingston Trio and other acts were, and these are some of the rarest and least reissued sides in their discography.
