The debut album for Tynisha Keli, The Chronicles of TK was briefly released as Even If It Takes Forever before being released by a major label in Japan. Keli uses a particularly light vocal style on the album, setting dainty vocals over tinkling R&B arrangements. The style is straightforward modern R&B-inflected pop, produced by some of the standard-bearers of contemporary pop. The album moved quickly on Japan's digital charts upon release, prompting a second album the next year.
