This second volume of "Louie Louie" ropes in some odd ones, with only the Kinks' and Paul Revere and the Raiders' original Northwest version showing real signs of rock & roll life. Everything else is goofy covers of the Richard Berry perennial from artists as diverse as the Angels, Mongo Santamaria, Pete Fountain, to fusion jazzers Stanley Clarke and George Duke. Not a strong set by any stretch.
