AllMusic Review by

Probably the only various-artists compilation named after a song recorded by Graham Gouldman and Andrew Gold's Wax project, The '80s: Right Between the Eyes features the song of the same title, as well as Toto Coelo's "I Eat Cannibals," Jefferson Starship's "Find Your Way Back," and Richard Sanderson's version of King Crimson's prog classic "In the Court of the Crimson King." The back of the disc notes that some of the selections are re-recordings, but there's no track-by-track notification. The listener won't know whether a specific song is an original or a re-recording until she/he hears it. As with all other volumes in this series, it should be avoided.
