AllMusic Review by

As if there weren't enough thoughtless compilations of '80s music, the Bellevue label came up with one of the worst yet. Some of the songs were released during other decades. The label notes that some of the selections are re-recordings, but it doesn't specify which ones on the back of each disc. The packaging is shoddy, too. This particular volume features versions of John Waite's "Missing You," Living Colour's "Cult of Personality," Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend," Todd Rundgren's "Bang the Drum All Day," and Toad the Wet Sprocket's "Walk on the Ocean" -- the last of which was released in 1991.
